Terms and Conditions for Traders at the Great Heathen Gathering

Booking Confirmation and Payment:

1.1 Upon acceptance of your application, a confirmation of your trading space will be provided.

1.2 Full payment is required within the stipulated timeframe to secure your trading place.

Cancellation and Refunds:

2.1 No refunds will be issued in the event of trader cancellation or failure to attend after payment.

2.2 Refunds will only be processed if cancellation is made up to 4 weeks before the Great Heathen Gathering.

Force Majeure Event:

3.1 In the event of a force majeure event (including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of terrorism, government restrictions, extreme weather, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control), the Great Heathen Gathering organisers reserve the right to cancel, postpone, or relocate the event.

3.2 In case of a force majeure event leading to the cancellation of the event, traders will not be refunded their participation fee.

 

Trading Space and Setup:

4.1 Traders are responsible for their own setup, including tents, tables, and displays.

4.2 Trading spaces will be allocated by the organisers and must be adhered to. Traders are not to exceed the agreed footprint for their space.

4.3 Traders are expected to maintain their trading spaces in a clean and presentable manner throughout the event.

Compliance with Laws and Regulations:

5.1 Traders must comply with all local, regional, and national laws and regulations regarding their products and trading activities.

5.2 The Great Heathen Gathering organisers are not responsible for ensuring trader compliance with legal requirements.

 

Liability:

6.1 Traders are responsible for their own goods, equipment, and personnel.

6.2 The Great Heathen Gathering organisers will not be held liable for any loss, damage, injury, or theft occurring during the event.

6.3 All traders are to provide proof of public liability insurance of no less than £5 million when applying to trade at the Great Heathen Gathering.

 

Termination of Participation:

7.1 The organisers reserve the right to terminate a trader's participation if they violate these terms and conditions, engage in unethical or discriminatory behaviour, or disrupt the event's harmony.

By participating in the Great Heathen Gathering, traders agree to abide by these terms and conditions. The organisers reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions if necessary, at their discretion. In this instance, written notice would be provided to all registered traders with an explanation of the changes and their reasons.
